Join the Fun: Woods & Trail Clearing Event!
Calling all nature lovers, trailblazers, and outdoor enthusiasts! The Indian Hill Historical Society Advisory Board and the Trees & Trails Foundation invite you to roll up your sleeves and join us for a morning of adventure in the woods on Saturday, October 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Lunch and refreshments are on us afterward, so you can refuel and celebrate your hard work!
We’ll be clearing the Green Areas land behind the charming Little Red Schoolhouse at 8100 Given Road—a perfect backdrop for a day of fresh air, good company, and meaningful impact!
Why We Need You:
Our mission? To restore the historic forests and bridle trails of Indian Hill to their natural, sustainable glory! This tract of land is a vital, 340-acre treasure, regularly galloped across by the Camargo Hunt during their season from September to March. But we need YOUR help to keep it thriving!
No Experience? No Problem!
Whether you’re a seasoned eco-warrior or a complete newbie, we have tasks for every skill level. And if you’re not sure where to start, don’t worry! Our experienced trail masters will be there to help.
What to Bring:
To participate, all volunteers must sign the Village of Indian Hill Volunteer Waiver and an Indian Hill Equestrian Club Volunteer Waiver. The waivers can be downloaded using the links below, and printed copies will be provided at the event.
If you are interested in participating in this volunteer event, sign up using the button below.
Lunch will be provided, so please let us know if you’re coming by October 9.
